LaCie vs Nec

Hi All

I have narrowed my search for a new monitor down to three choices:

LaCie 324 24" ($980)

LaCie 321 20" ($1100)

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi ($1270)

Prices are in Canadian dollars.

I realise that they are all quite different in their way.

The intended use is mostly for photo editing/print matching.

I shoot in aRGB and only convert to sRGB for web use. I'm leaning toward the NEC but people over in Flickr seem to think the Lacie are superior.

I'd appreciate your help in making this decision

Thanks in advance

Peter

The LaCie 321 is too much money for its size. The LaCie 324 is S-PVA (experiences color shift especially with darker colors). The LCD26 is H-IPS (quite stable regardless of image being displayed) and I believe this alone makes it superior for photo editing/print matching alone. It has a pretty good contrast/black level for an IPS panel too. It may be worth it to get the SpectraView software.
