Anyone had any experience with these? The one I'm looking at is the LaCie Electron19 Blue3, it's a 19" that comes in a special blue color and with a hood that's supposed to guarantee the most accurate color reproduction. However, I can't find any reviews on it, so I'm not quite ready to jump yet. Any assistance anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
 
Seems to be a good monitor, but one thing I wanna know. What makes the blue hood so special? I can't see how, but o well. There are many other monitors that are good also, so look at them also.
 
The blue case color and hood are to avoid the problems of ambient light reflecting off the monitor screen and affecting the color purity. That's getting a little simplistic, but I think you know what I mean. Check out their website, they explain it a little better than I could. 🙂
BTW, just noticed, not sure about this one because of the dotpitch. (Variable .25-.27) I'm thinking the Samsung 900NF is still the front runner, but I really like the color control of the LaCie ElectronBlue. I guess I'll keep working on it. 🙂
