This has always been of interest to me since I saw Gattaca. After the passing of my father from liver disease which was genetically caused I am even now more motivated to research this topic.

Now would you guys after reading that article pay $400 for a genetic screening and full breakdown of what you are more subseptiable to and what genes you have that would cause allergic reactions to certain medicines? I think this is a worthwhile cause and it may be a bit premature in development but this is something I would spend my money on in the future.

That would probably be a worthy investment as long as insurance companies don't get ahold of the info.

They would probably want people to pay for the tests, and after seeing the reports than charge accordingly.

Check out their website genelex.com, interesting.

I might want to do their drug reaction one, I've had some problems with prescription drugs and it would be cool to find out if it's genetic.

Congress passed a law that said u can't be discriminated on when getting insurance or a job based on dna assessments
