One of our lab computers here at work has gotten into a log-in issue after a power outage. We need to retrieve the registration key, but no one seems to know where this is written down...IF it was ever written down anywhere.
Is this key saved in the registry somewhere? Can we get at it?
This is an XP Pro machine with SP1 on it. It's not connected to the outside world. We do laser beam profiling with it and that's it. So we're not doing anything underhanded with the machine.
For whatever reason we cannot log in to the machine in the standard way. We CAN log in via Safe Mode, BUT the drivers we need to run the laser profiling software won't load in Safe Mode.
If anyone can tell me IF, or where this registration key is and how we can get it, we'd great;y appreciate it.
