La-z-boy

no, i was looking for how much it was. My wife is trying to decide if she wants to take the job there, and they won't tell her how much the discount is until she accepts it. She has a couple other job offers as well, and we're trying to figure out which one would be most worthwhile for her to take.

Thanks

well, actually it will be for a whole house, so living room, family room, loft, and probably some bedroom furn too. So if it's a good discount, it could save us quite a bit of money

Would you all stop proding him? 😛 - It's a simple question, if you don't have the answer leave the guy and his wife alone 😛

IMO, them not wanting to tell you what the discount is before hiring is a big red flag. That's a nice perk that they should be more than willing to talk about.

Yeah really. The discount could vary from product to product? Maybe that's why they're not telling you. Seems kinda strange though.

This is not a career move for her, this is something that we are doing to make a few extra bucks, and in return get some sort of incentives out of. In other words, we're looking to buy a new house and we need to furnish it, so this provides a little extra income for the move as well as a nice discount on the furniture we need to buy anyway.

Maybe they don't want people seeking employment with their company solely based on the employee discount then seeing those employees moving on after they make a major purchase. No one wants to be painted a chump.
