And taxpayers (most of whom can't afford a ticket) footed the bill.

This worship of watching millionaires play a damn ball game is beyond stupid.

What do you define as rich exactly
That's just it, they typically aren't rich. They are standard middle class millenials that should be playing smart with their money, but it's just burning a hole in their pocket.

As far as apartments near shopping malls that is, I'm not 100% sure the demographics of someone renting near a stadium, but I would suspect it would be the same. The rich aren't stupid with their money generally, that's why they are rich. It's our retarded middle class that never wants to advance in life.

I mean just relating this back to concerts and tickets... I took one look at the prices of guns n roses reunion tour and laughed at the thought of paying $200-500 each ticket for a couple hours of shitty seats and some good music and overpriced crap food and beer. I Would rather worry about having a nicer house that I live in every day.

You're heartless. Think of the children and go watch some beheadings on live leak. At least they are already dead. This is more like like watching a live stream of somebody bashing their head into a concrete wall, punctuated by messages brought to you by Pepsi and McDonalds.

Actually, you just described NASCAR better than the NFL. Watching that is like a live stream of people bashing their cars into concrete walls, punctuated by the same 4 commercials for KFC and Ford F-150's replaying over and over and over again.

When I think of rich, at MINIMAL I would think top 5%.. I would estimate that as a 200k+ household income. Even still, that is hard to define as rich, I would actually clarify that more as "well-off". truly rich/wealthy i guess I would place at more of a $500k+

Dunno, just my estimation on things.

That's pretty close - top 5% households are at just over 200K. Top 1% are at just over 500K from a quick google. So you said only the rich are really smart with their money, and the rest and/or the middle class are too stupid to want to advance in life - your words. First of all those are kind of conflicting, because middle class is certainly not making anywhere near 200K a year in household income. The middle class is more like 40-130K a year. So take your pick.

Of course this 'middle-class life' varies by geographic area significantly. So we'd probably have to pick a well-populated area and look at the rich and middle class earnings there to create a baseline and then figure out who are all these stupid people that don't want to advance in life.

I remember back in the day when $1.5B bought you a pretty nice stadium. One that was functional, anyhow.
