Sprint. The same or better coverage then Verizon with cheaper plans and better phones.

What part of Los Angeles do you live in!?

Verizon has, bar-none, the best coverage in Los Angeles. I have friends with T-Mobile, Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T, living in Santa Monica, West LA, Downtown, Alhambra, Rowland Heights, Chino Hills, Pasadena, the SF Valley, and as far as Irvine, and without doubt Verizon has better coverage. I have yet to find a place where I (with Verizon) cannot get a signal and a Sprint phone can.

I can't really comment on the cheaper plans or better phones comment, but the V710, due out in a couple of weeks, is a really nice phone. Plans wise, I think all the companies are pretty competitive.

It could just be an issue of what phone you have. I goto all the same places you do and my phone always works great.

EDIT: And that's without any roaming.

another dumb question, how can i tell if the phone is blue tooth capable ? like few post ago mention motorola v710 is blue tooth capable but i went to the spec page it didnt literaly said " its blue tooth" which detail in the spec do i look for ? thx for the help on such newbie question.

it was i who answered your question... and also, go to phonescoop.com for phone specs and such. every so often, they will be a feature or 2 off, but the site is really reliable and its really detailed. as for the v710, if you visit the phonescoop link for the phone, if you navigate down to features, you'll see bluetooth listed underneath there and the profiles supported.
