La Jolla/San Diego area residents...which cell phone company has the best reception?

Verizon in LA rules...but I'm not sure if it's the case in San Diego county. Thanks for the help.

verizon rocks in sd.

edit: all my friends who had t-mobile/cingular/at&t jumped over to the verizon ship also, they couldnt even get reception in their own homes.

Verizon works well in SD. I use AT&T and that works pretty well too. Definitely stay away from T-Mobile. It works great in LA, but it sucks in La Jolla. I switched to AT&T in November and it's been pretty good so far.

BTW, do you go to UCSD?

askin' me? naw. considering it though. im still young, deciding which route i want to take. pursue c.s. or go criminal law, which greatly intrests me also. so, it'll either be ucsd or usd. i have a pretty good job now, so im not too worried about it. but i was born/raised/lived in sd my whole life, thats why im in the area.

sprint also works well in that area.

yeah, i forgot to mention it, but ameesh is correct, sprint works well. i used sprint many moons ago, and i had good service, but my bills were a tad bit high (ran through my minutes too quickly). but my mom uses it, and she's happy with it, works well around here.

i still have an 858 area code on my number even though i am in washington now.

i have no probs with cingular in SD. too lazy to swtich my 949 area code to an SD one though.
