La Croix = the patch for soda addicts

Trying to ween myself off of soda...drink about 6 of these a day. Anyone else got a better solution? There's something so incredibly satisfying about sweetened carbonated beverages...

Exactly the point, it'll never be as satisfying as a full calorie coke...but it'll have to do

I like flavored seltzer, but LaCroix is one of my least favorite brands. I haven't done it in awhile, but I used to drink a lot of unsweetened tea. Either all herb, or blends of real tea and herb. I also like mixing extracts in tap water. Peppermint is a favorite, as is anis.

I'm actually doing the same thing right now in an effort to shed some pounds I've gained recently. I've had good luck with these:

There is something about carbonated water that helps me feel full in general.

I need to cut back too. Those empty calories are not good for your health but Cokes are on sale, $10 plus sale tax for 4 packs of 12 cans.

Cold Cokes in hot weather = heavenly.

Actually, they're real close without me doing math. 35g sugar vs 39g, but the clementina is a smaller can.

I've been drinking the la Croix for 5 or six years now. I like it.

Full strength fountain drinks seem grossly thick and sweet in comparison. I'll still get a Dr. Pepper on the rare occasion I go out for a cheeseburger.

I went to Aquafina, but I think I'm moving back to La Croix soon. Seems to go flatter more quickly, but I think it tasted better.

I like them, it's like diet soda without the fake sugar. Though I'm sure we will find out that the natural flavoring causes diacanceraids in the near future.

As a soda drinker this stuff tastes awful. Granted I only tried one flavor, but it was bad enough to give the other 11 of them away. If I was okay with something that wasn't sweet, I wouldn't be hooked on soda in the first place

hence why it is considered "the patch". nothing will ever be as good as full calorie soda, but I can't be blowing 900+ calories a day on fucking soda.

Yeah I did the caffeine pills myself in High School along with soda. I was consuming so much caffeine I was twitching.

of course, I forgot to take my caffeine pill this morning (too many Hawaii distractions) and pretty much at 4pm it hit me like a sack of bricks. Sitting here sucking down iced teas in hope of functioning again.

I'm using a powered tea drink mix that come in a box of six large straws to cut back on soda. One straw will fill a 2L bottle, so when I'm done with a bottle of soda I fill it with tea.
