probably ones with dead pixels...

Might be a good deal if you're willing to gamble. Too bad I bought the 2005 FPW for $360 from Dell...

Returned my L90D+ to newegg with a dead DVI port. Left 3 messages with Hyundai support for an RMA and never heard back.

I got in on the Dell 2005FPW deal 380 last week (379.04 shipped to my door).

Trust me, you won't be sorry you got the Dell.

not a chance i would buy an open box monitor with out seeing it. i would bet 99% were returned due to dead pixels.

otoh, if it was returned for a failed dvi port or something they fixed i'd consider it. but for a roughly 10% discount i think i'd pass.

HA! Buyer beware on this one!

I bought my L90D+ from them, had 6 defective pixels. Went through the painful RMA process and got the runaround for over a month. Finally did get a replacement though, only one stuck pixel on the top edge - I think thats about as good of a panel as hyundai is capable of making. So if you end up with a troublesome unit, you can't count on the RMA service/customer support for jack.

Go Dell or some other company - 8ms isn't faster than the 10/12ms models that you can find in the $300 range these days.

The dead DVI port thing can be fixed by resetting the panel in the OSD.

A green pixel isnt a dead pixel.

Should have tried an lcd cleaner to get it unstuck, Ive seen it work a few times.

It was only green on a black background, it was different colors on different backgrounds. And i tried the masssaging it out technique and everything else, believe me i didn't wanna send it back, it was gorgeous......but i believe in getting a good monitor for that amount of money.
