L5 mod XP2400+ => MP2600+

OK folks, this is gonna sound newb, but this is a little confusing.....

Is the Athlon XP 2400+ == Athlon MP 2600+

The skinny: I have two recently L5 modded XP2400+'s (one older T-Bred, one Thorton). Wasn't even sure they'd work together, but they do on one of my Tiger MPX's (and believe me, they FLY). But they show POST as MP2600+'s, and CPUZ shows them both as Thorton cores (the Thorton is in the CPU1 socket), running around 2GHz each with the 256 cache.

I was under the (perhapse wrong) impression that MP model numbers more or less equaled XP model numbers, and CPUz's behavior is interesting.

OK......the question: Is this normal and should I do anything about this?

-Thanks!

The model numbers are equal IF the XP is on a 133FSB, which is all the MPs come in. I.E. a 2800+ AthlonMP is still only 133FSB, whereas a 2800+ Barton would be a 166FSB chip.
