I haven't played for a month or so.

Yesterday, I had some free time, so I decided to play for a while.

It was one horrible, asshole-ridden game after another. Ragequits, angry team killing, one man run-'n-gunners, you name it. Not the l4d/l4d2 experience I last had.

I would like to continue to play this game, but I'm having trouble finding cool people.

I'm a decent player, and I'm all about teamwork over kills. I'm constantly healing everyone.

Folks in AT are pretty cool, for the most part; Can anyone here PM me with their names if they don't mind me adding them as friends? Can you also let me know when you play?

Then you need to stop joining public games and put your own group of friends together.

(I know you're trying to do this by posting this, but I had to point out the obvious)
 
Yes it can be real annoying sometimes. I love the realism mode.. but most people get killed and then just disconnect.

I would add you as a friend... but I never know when I get a chance to play. I usually have to take the wife out for margaritas so she falls asleep.

I ran into this with the original L4D and it was part of the reason I stopped playing. Lots of jerks and I kept getting kicked because I'm a mediocre player. Hard for me to get better if I can't keep playing the MP. 🙁

I'm an awesome player. :awe:

We just absolutely raped in like two hours of scavenge. Finding a good pub match is like striking oil.
 
Playing with friends is the only way to play really. It's just stupidly frustrating any other way.

I can say with competent friends and Vent the mutation this week is insanely fun. Jockying off with people while their team mates have no clue where they are is just too amusing.

The AT L4D group isn't that active which is a shame. I'm sure there are quite a few decent players here.
 
Yeah i mostly try and play with friends. Im also a good player and people's stupidity is so annoying. especially on this weeks mutation, the realism VS mode, its brutal. If you get seperated on that mutation its all over.

I work 12 hour shifts early in the week so i only game thursdays fridays and saturdays. If you want you can add me, or i'll try and add you on thursday. My steam name is Rifter.
 
L4D pubs are a joke. There's no incentive to stay in a game so the moment something goes south, people are encouraged to start anew.
 
I disagree played a realism versus game of Dead Center with three other people who were awesome. One guy had a mic but he was speaking very low, it was late. We rapped the other team all the way to do the end. The teamwork was incredible. We played a second game, did not win but still gave a good challenge. Hey you can't win them all. It is not about winning all the time.
