L4D - Playing as infected only (with friends)

So me and my two friends have been playing a lot of L4D in both campaign and versus modes. However I've been looking to see if there is a way for us to play as the infected and have the survivor team AI controlled. I've seen ways to do it in single player, but I want to try it with friends.

Is there any way to do this? Google shows several methods, all of which seem to no longer work or use nonexistent commands.

Do you know how shitty AI is? Unless there was a way to make the AI much better, outside of the aimbotted ness they have, it might be really boring.

you can do an AI survivor team, but afaik you need to have your own server and a custom cfg file to do it.

It has nothing to do with skill/challenge, I want to do this for fun. There are times where we like to mess around instead of actually playing the game.

I am able to setup my own dedicated server. If you can link me to a guide explaining what needs to be done after that would be great.

Unfortunately, I can't find the guide that I used to do it myself.

To be honest, it didn't work that well either, it was kind of a hacked solution. The easiest way off the top of my head to do it though, is start a game as survivor, switch teams, and then there's a command to force versus mode to start popping all the doors open.

That command being: director_force_versus_start 1
Good luck. It used to work for me, but I haven't tried it in a while.

I'll give that a shot. One issue though, how do I get everyone on the infected team? One person is always stuck on the survivor team.
