Left 4 dead is one of the best games I have played in a while. Playing with my roomates on EXPERT, it is a blast. Levels are different every time and it hasn't gotten repetitive yet. It is very much reccomended if you enjoy co-op lanning.

Zombie blasting + co-op = Collective PC Gamer population finally getting off after spending a decade with blue balls.
Have you seen how many people play CS:S zombie mod? Its total shit! And we still play it!

EA is just the publisher - they just make the physical DVD and packaging. Valve is getting the money.

Ah, I assumed that it had the securom deluxe that EA has stated that they will put on every game they put out.
Checked it out and the only DRM is Steam itself. Normally I don't buy games from steam because I can't reinstall them without the internet but L4D only appeals to me as a multiplayer game so I have to have a internet connection anyway if I want to play it.
Guess I'll be getting it then.

My buddies and I LANed up HL2 with the co-op mod and we all had a blast. I can stomach the $60 for L4D but don't know if all my buddies can yet so we'll probably have to wait til it's around $30 or so.
