I can't find any info anywhere..... so I have to ask.

Does anyone know, or have read when the 360 is getting a patch and the DLC??? Valve only said around Christmas, then it was after Christmas,.. then it was 2 weeks ago, then it was last week, and now I haven't read anything. You can only play versus No Mercy so many times before it gets old.

I believe the current status is: Still on the way some time during some month of some year during this or the next decade.

Crazy, I heard that Half-Life 2 Episode 3 is coming out around that same time.

Who knows. All I know is that L4D needs lots of things to make this game worth the $50 price tag IMO. Its still a great game but needs better weapon differentiation(like whats the difference between the TMP and m16???) and more scenarios.

Since when did Valve start support consoles? :D

Bu..Bu...But! They promised that this time they really would support the console version! ~sniffle~

And you bought it didn't you? I learned my lesson w/ the orange box... valve and consoles don't mix. Since I no longer have a PC that can play the newest games, I guess I'm not playing any more valve games.

$50?? I paid $60. But I won't complain, I do love this game, just want more of it. I play it so much, I have stupid inventory and health charts embeded into my plasma screen. I left my TV on the white out thing last night that is supposed to erase that stuff, but its still there.... damn you Valve!!

Did you actually buy the game? I would have said the same thing before I bought it myself. Its well worth the money. It doesnt need more weapons. What it really needs more than anything else is some sort of progression - stats, leveling up, etc etc...some sort of reason to keep playing. It's like I want to keep playing, but I just need more reason to.

But either way, it's probably my favorite game of last year. Had such a blast playing it with friends. Dont think of the 4 scenarios as comprising a very short single player game. Think of them more like 4 multiplayer campaigns with 5 multiplayer maps each. Kinda how those 12 maps that came with battlefield 2 were enough.

I'm sorry, what is DLC?

It's like a PC mod, only you give them money for the privilege to download it and it comes with draconian 1984 type DRM associated with it.

Sadly. It was the only way for me to have a chance at playing coop with my friends. None of us have PCs that would run it well enough. Orange Box was mostly single player or regular multiplayer so I didn't worry about my friends. I couldn't justify buying a coop game I couldn't play with friends so, hello 360 version.
