Hello,
i'm new to this forum as a writer (used to be a reader only), and since there were some recommendations on the L226WTQ (after its 1.14 version) i bought it.
it appears that my panel suffers from a serious ghosting problem (similar to the one described on the L226WA). my service menu has the following details:

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
L2x6W
TSUM058 VER 1.40
070529 HSKIM ETI. 0
CLEAR ETI > NO
AUTO COLOR > NO
AGING > OFF
PANEL > LPL22W 4L
NVRAM INIT > NO

9300 R110 G117 B128
6500 R128 G128 B118
OFFSET R139 G144 B142
GAIN R93 G96 B94
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

i haven't seen any posts about version 1.40 of this panel, am i the first to have it?

Welcome to the forums.:) Which model exactly do you have is it a WTQ only or is it a WTQBF or something along those lines? The newer WTQ models usually have some extra letters on them. The original WTQ model had problems.

-BF and -SF just mean bezel color (black/silver) but all Qs were affected, as far as I know since the Q meant LPL panel with overdrive. Scary that the problems are back in 1.40.

the full name of my model is L226WTQ-BF, and as xtknight said, the last 2 letters are used to describe the bezel color.
