I've been trying to overclock my classic athlon 700 on abit Ka7. I just got the GFD recently. I can do 750 fine, but 800 won't go. So I'm trying to lower the cache with the settings in bios right?
No matter WHAT I set it to there, WCPUID and Sandra still say that it's at 1/2...
I don't get it...
Can anyone help?

I just tried to switch the L2 cache division ratio of the Athlon classic 700 in my KA7-100 and it works perectly for me if I select an L2 cache ID of 4. The division ratio changes from 1/2 to 1/3 with no problems. Be aware that there are two classes of L2 cache chips and you must use the correct cache ID. I did find that if I tried to use the wrong ID it would lock up the system in the middle of POST.

You need to know which ram you have on your cpu. Either NEC or samsung to set it right on the Ka7.
