L&R missing from side bar

While we are at it, L&R also was giving me a warning this AM about how I have to be logged in to view/post comments (when I was logged in obviously, because I was in L&R and made posts still).

L&R is locked out to unregistered members, so that sensitive content doesn't show up on search engines and/or become fodder for others on other forums. The new sidebar is a static entity, so it only lists forums that unregistered users can read.

Well, they should make it a dynamic entity then 😛 I know you could do that with ruby on rails and you can do it with php as well.

Why not just list the L&R as a static entry? If you are not registered, you'll just end up seeing an error page.

How about Black Friday? That's not restricted to logged in members and it's MIA from the sidebar. 🙁

i somehow have a feeling that the sidebar was written in HTML by AT so it's isolated from the rest of the forum...
