Where's the proof of that? I just want to make sure I got the right thing before I write about it.

Proof? I have a L&C PSU. It's got "DEER" embossed in the manofold. They started relabeling their PSU's sometime last year with a commercial name as "DEER" was too generic.

Ok. I just got a 350watt L&C. The reason I'm skeptical is because it shows no traces of DEER power supplies and the power supply, inside and out, looks and functions a lot better than the crappy 300watt DEER I have (which I got only about a month ago). Check this out:

It's a DEER. Considering the bad rap (which they've earned), I'm not surprised they're trying to disassociate the name from the parent company.

Here is the direct link to a PowerPoint (text available) overview that the company uses to show off to perspective distributors.

Ok, thanks. Yea, they had some really bad models. But this "L&C" seems to be a HUGE improvement. Thanks for the info once again.

I have an L&C 300 watt in my case now with a 1 gig tbird. No problems with it. Plus have a 250 l&c in a duron 800 system with no problems it was an old power supply more than 2 years old. They come with most generic cases. I wouldn't trust them over a gig though.

Cheap is good. I ran a 1.4Ghz Tbird based system, with a GF2 Pro, two IDE HDDs, a CDRW drive etc. (very decent system) on a 425W L&C without problems. As a matter of fact, I've encountered more performance issues using Antec PSUs than the L&Cs.

Of course, I run a 431W Enermax PSU in my main workstation.
