Well let me update my post. The Radeon is flunking running Unreal 1. The Kyro ran it quite nicely. But I don't think I have it setup correctly. Over at Digit_life they were able to run Unreal 1, and it ran very fast. And as for benchmarks I said the Kyro benched faster. But it was only a few frames and totally unnoticeable during actual gameplay. DVD playback is absolutely banging on the Radeon. Of course I knew that would be nice because I have Expert 2000 in my daughters PC. The colors are so rich and vibrant on the Radeon. I used Power DVD 3.0. The Radeon has no equal at all when it comes to DVD playback. The Radeon is still smoooth as silk in Q3. I liked the Kyro II and might go with that one on a permanent basis. But as for quality and a better overall experience I have to say the Radeon is few steps ahead of the Kyro II. The one thing that truly bothered me about the Kyro was when you enabled anistropic filtering, the Kyro struggled majorly. And for the video in and out which I haven't tried on the Radeon is also a extra bonus as well. So far the Radeon is ahead in my decision for a video card, but the Kyro is an extremely nice card for the price. But the Radeon is a decent price as well now.
