Kyro2 and DVD problems

I saw on FiringSquad that they had trouble getting the Kyro2 to work with ANY dvd software on ANY operating system. Any of you Kyro2 owners out there run into this, or any problems like this? Anyone have any insight into this?

I have a Videologic VividXS Kyro 2 with tvout and the quality is excellent. I've never had a card with tv out before to compare with my new kyro 2 but it looks pretty good to me!
