I've been doing a bit of reading on the Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 with the Kyro II Chipset, and was looking for some input from others as to how they Percieve the card as a likely Upgrade, as to say a G400 or TNT2. I read the Article on Anand, and at Sharky's, and from what I can see, it may best the Geforce 2 MX by a bit,( on some platforms), Am I reading right? Also, at $150.00 seems like a fair deal if the Performance is as good as they Type.... LMK your thoughts please, and no Product Bashing OK?
 
Anand was supposed to be doing a follow-up article on the KyroII as far as game compatability, driver stability, ect., but I have not seen it come up yet. I would definately wait to read that before i'd get my heart set on buying it. Could be a potential dissaster if it won't run any popular game titles. As far as a potential upgrade for TNT2, i'd think it would be a great upgrade.
 
well most anything is an upgrade from a tnt2, but the radon le looks pretty good for 77 bux or so😛 for 150 you could easily get a geforce 2 gts
 
I was thinking of that, Prob is, I am running the Abit SH6, and the I/O Voltage defaults out to 3.33 or so, with no adjustments. I have run a gts before, but at 3.4 volts.....I wish Abit would update a bios for an I/O tweak, it would make things alot easier.. Thanks for the replies so far 🙂
