Kyro II.............WOW

Is this a fluke, or does the Kyro II really beat the GeForce 2 Ultra in several benchmarks? This was totally unexpected.
 
I was VERY impressed with the Kyro II review. I am definently considering picking one up when they come out. I bought a Hercules Geforce2 MX last week from my friend for 60 bux and although I got a good deal on it, it is lackluster to say the least. Barely outperforming my TnT2 Ultra. The Kyro2 looks like it would be a nice upgrade for me, especially considering the price. I dont play D3D games so the MBTruck Racing visual anomalies (sp?) are not really a concern for me, besides im sure they'lll corect that with a driver update.

Im always up for trying something different so I'll be looking into the Kyro2 for sure. Anybody know when the card will be available for purchase?

 
Freakin' amazing!! I wonder how it performs on slower processors? Some of need cheaper parts for a REASON! We don't all have GHz processors...
 
I was really impressed with the #'s from SeriousSam since that is one of the games I am looking forward to most. I wonder why he didn't try and overclock it though, I know that Kyro owners have overclocked theirs.
With a .18 core and 5ns ram that should overclock nicely, and it seems that was the main difference in the scores between Kyro I vs II ...might just have to try this card out.
