What's the deal. Okay, I guess most of you guys are real big on the details of a card. A lot of you are dogging a card that seems to perform very well, especially for its price. I'm not sure of how extensive the Anandtech review was, but it shows that this card does perform. T&L is its weakness, but don't most cards out there have their weaknesses too. Seems like ~110 for a 64MB video card works out well. I was thinking of bargaining for a Radeon 32MB DDR LE card, but I'd rather not overclock for the value and get this card (i'm thinking still about it)
My card right now is a Viper II and it performs well enough to play CS at 1024 32bit for me to not think about it. I get no video problems and it's decent for the deal i got on it 6months ago. And in windows, it doesn't perform bad enough for me to notice anything wrong.
What do you guys use these cards for anyways? Seems like everyone here wants the $500 features on every card. It's a little confusing on what's the bottom line.
Anyways, give me more input on this card, i'm thinking of getting the evil card.
Also, how about recording TV programs on ur PC. will any TV-out do it well on my T-bird800/192MB system? Or do i need a special card? Give me suggestions please. I need to find a good card that won't rip my pocket!
