I just got a Kyocera phone today - the new phantom one.

The manual says to press the left arrow and hold it to lock the keypad. When I do that I'm told "feature unavailable".

Anybody know anything about this?

Thanks!

Apparently this only does it when it is plugged in and charging.

It works fine when it is not plugged in.

Is this normal?

Hey babe,

Your best bet is to ask over at the HowardForums, which is basically the biggest cell phone forum on the Internet. If you find out you want a different phone instead, read the associated review site (best on the web) at HowardChui.com. :)

I have the Kyocera 2325 (had to get the old factory ringers) and keyguard does not function while charging. Don't ask me why, but it's a "feature". ;) Even if it was on keyguard before you plug it in, it takes it off.

I called customer support today and apparently that's normal. They figure if you're charging your phone, you don't need the keyguard.

Heh..

When my uncle came down to visit the other day, Kyocera is the brand of digicam they had.

First time I had ever heard of it. This is the 2nd. ;)
