I just watched portions of a concert/TV special she had recently (not sure if it was taped or not) -- wow. It was on Star (something like that -- it's an Asian network, I think, I'm still new to the TV channels around here in Japan). Probably only an Asian broadcast, but it was called "An Interview with Kylie Minogue".

Shes more than a one hit wonder in the US, she had a hit in 1988-89(Loco-motion) and in 2001/2002 with Can't Get You Out of My Head. So thats two. However, shes been widely popular the past 13 years outside the US. Kylie released 9 albums in the past 13 years, thats alot more than Shakira.

Shakira has 6 total albums(US and latin america), and is 10 years younger.

Not that I really prefer either one, but it isn't like Kylie has "SO MANY MORE" albums.
