Kworld TVR card

I installed a tv tuner in my pc so I could watch tv in the dorm. It worked perfectly when I tested it at my house and I could watch satellite (though i could not record and get sound and had to change the channel on the satellite receiver obviously) I hooked it up to my dorm connection and got 10 channels at first I thought that the cable we got just sucked so I gave up. Now my roommate just got a tv to play his PS2 on and he has 80 or so channels, both use the same connection via a splitter, what would cause this and how do I fix it I really would like to be able to record some shows.

Nevermind clearing out my old drivers and installing a new one fixed it all

Well if you're feeding the processed video signal from a satellite receiver into the TV card, then it isn't the TV card's fault at all - it's the receiver that does the tuning.
