Just to let you all know, people over on newegg say that KWorld doesn't like to honor rebates.

I just got my rebate from a similar version of this deal from earlier this year. After denying me that I didn't send them the UPC, it took 4 phone calls to their HQ and pestering their Marketing Manager to get a manual check cut for $25. It isn't worth it. I had to go through a similar routine a year or two ago on another one of their crappy tuner cards.

The HD version is currently installed and is spotty quality wise. On the channels is gets the quality is good. But in scanning my cable connection it will skip many strong channels. When I try and rescan it won't pick up anything until I reinstall the drivers and set it back up from scratch. My Leadtek card worked much more reliably than this except w/o HD.

Also, this card is not compatible with TitanTV and the BeyondTV is no fun once the trial subscription runs out.

I have a mixed review for the rebate issue.

I sent rebate they denied back in January. I just inquired a month ago, and resubmitted. The rebate was honored.

Good response, but the rebate should have been honored the first time.
