Due to some relatively shortsighted planning on my part, I now need to try to move my computers to another area in my office, which is too far from my desk to connect directly to my KVM.

I'm kind of tired of all the wires and clutter on my desk anyway.

So I've been googling without success to see if I can find some kind of wireless KVM solution. Anyone know of any they can recommend? Google or other references are appreciated as well, but personal recommendations would be excellent.

If my netbook would support the resolution of my monitor, I was basically going to use it to RDP to my other PCs, but wanted to see if there is a better, possibly more commercial, solution out there.

I have two laptops and a desktop I want to access from the same monitor and keyboard/mouse setup.

I have half a solution for the OP. Check our Synergy (http://synergy-foss.org/). It's an open source project that aims to use software to control multiple computers off of one set of a mouse and keyboard and a network connection. You'll be able to use one computer as a 'server' that will host the peripherals while all other laptops/desktops can be set to use it upon start-up. The drawback with Synergy is that you still need separate monitors so you can see what the you are moving/typing on each computer's screen. But hey, at least you can narrow your search to just a video input/output switch.

I use Synergy on several networked computers for my high school's robotics team. With Synergy, we're able to work with several different instances of National Instruments Labview at the same time to produce code for our robots. This is especially helpful because you are able to take advantage of much more screen real-estate, and still retains the ability for each computer to have a separate mouse & keyboard.
