KVM switch works with USB transadapter?

KVM switch is in my consideration for new system. Belkin's 2 port switch with ps/2 is on target. but my new system doesn't seem to have ps/2 port instead usb comes with. This would mean USB transadapter is required to use KVM switch with new system, is this combination works fine?

example figure)
PowerMac G5 --- USB transadapter --- KVM switch --- Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse --- Duron 700 aseembled system

I am using a KVM with a USB adapter and am having no problems. The only difference between your setup and mine is that I run the adapter on KVM instead of the case.

Raritan kvm's are built for/to handle usb as well as ps/2... they are also 1 one the best manufactures of kvm there is...

you can find them all around the web or of course raritan.com...
