KVM Switch Problems

I got a Belkin OmniView SOHO with USB and audio. I have reseated the cables (using the belkin pro kvm cables between computers) and get pink lines in my screen every once in awhile. If I refresh it clears up but comes back again. Also, with icons that are supposed to be transparent, the transparency appears in the background as a pink color (the same pink as the lines).

Anyone know what is going on as it never did this before?

Will adding an external power supply correct it?

Thanx

that could help, but i would be sure it is not your video card causing all ths first

i wouldn't think that the kvm would affect the transparency of icons, that does sound like a video problem.

on a side note, is this the ps2/usb kvm or the just usb kvm? I got the one with only usb a few weeks back and had to rma it because it stopped responding. didnt show up after 3 weeks so I called em back. turns out they didnt have my address (even though I gave it to the RMA department) so it was just sitting there waiting to be shipped. supposedly it is on the way now. I'm just hoping they don't charge my cc before I can get the dead one back to them. i'm not too impressed with belkin right now.

Yeah it seems to be my Radeon drivers actually. I have these lines going up and down my screen (my windows desktop is in jail). Never had a problem before but after installing the Catalyst drivers, the problem won't go away, even after uninstalling and going to prior versions.

However, when I install a standard VGA compatible, the lines fix but response and performance is terrible. No sane PC user wants to run with only a VGA compatible for my Radeon 8500 and don't know what to do.
