KVM Help! Two computers on one LCD

I'm looking to connect my PC and G4 Mac to one single monitor using a KVM switch. Since I cannot find a cheap DVI KVM switch, I'm thinking I'm going to get a VGA switch. Will I notice a major quality difference? I have a Samsung 19" Syncmaster 920BW if that helps at all.

Thanks in advance.

It's kind of ghetto, but if your monitor has two inputs and a "source select" button that's within easy reach, you can just use a cheap KVM for the mouse/kb, and the switch on the monitor for video.
