KV7 - memory issue

I have KV7 motherboard, and installed two sets of 512Kb (DDR400) Memory.

The boot up screen only detects 512Mb

I've tried taking out one stick to see if either of them is faulty.

Have tried all combinations of banks.

Is there anything in the bios that allows this to get sorted.
