i loved breakfast of champions... my favorite author. i wonder if my alma mater is doing anything on this day to remember him.

His house was like 10 min from where I grew up and I got to hear him speak once at a conference. His writing really inspired me during my early years in school.

Ironically I was just explaining Ice9 to a coworker yesterday and now today I find this out.
