I'm the only person I know thats not, and never was, into Nirvana. Got nothing against it, just don't enjoy it really. At that time, I was listening to Rush, Led Zep, Sonic Youth, Dream Theater, and Pearl Jam. Nirvana never had a place in my heart....or my cassete player

Who's asking for your sympathy? He sure isn't cause he's dead. Do we have to feel sympathy for musicians now or what? Sorry I just don't know what you are trying to say....WTF does sympathy have to do with anything.

He was one of the fathers of the genre...I think quite a few bands wouldn't exist today if it wasn't for Nirvana. Maybe he was a bad person, but can't you seperate the music from the person sometimes?
