kung fu hustle sucked ass

Cause its funny, and its pretty well done. Especially for a Chinese film. Stephen Chow is a damn good director/actor in my opinion.

Good question.. probably because some people like anything with crazy Kung Fu moves yet no real plot, character development, or realism.

In the buisness world, there is this term called "Marketing". I don't know if you are familiar with it, however, you might want to look it up. That is the answer to your question.

I have not seen this movie yet, since I generally do not watch movies that have too much hype (at least not until it's been out for a week or two and there are at least a handfull of reviews on IMDB.) Usually hyped up big budget "blockbusters" suck goat testicles.
 
i really did not enjoy it that much.

sure there were funny parts, but they came in bunches, and then left HUGE voids of just pure nothing. certain parts were funny, but overall the movie was not all that good, it just seemed like a huge waste of my time to watch it honestly.

i actually agree with reck. when the movie first came out, i went and bought the dvd in chinatown and was really excited about another stephon chow movie. after watching it at home i felt let down and someone confused. the movie was pretty boring and the action was too over the top for me.
