Just popped into Big Lots in Auburndale, FL.

Various Jackie Chan DVD's for $3.99 - could be local deal only for all I know.

Also various software packages for $3.99-9.99.

$9.99 for one "triple pack" with Sin, Heretic II and Battlezone .

I got:
"The Young Master" -Jackie Chan
"Young Tiger" -Jackie Chan
"The Street Fighter"-SonnyChiba
"Laser Mission" -Brandon Lee

They also had several Bruce Lee DVD's, "Fists of Fury" was one.

The Street Fighter series is awesome! Sonny Chiba kicks ass and they're just good campy fun. I've seen those discs for $6.99 but $3.99 is a great deal. Gotta head to Big Lots.

Careful about these cheapo kung fu DVD's. I bought a $5 Fists of Fury DVD once to pad an order so I could use a coupon. It's the worst DVD I've ever seen. First off, it's digitized off an old old old print that has tons and tons of dust, scratches etc. fouling up the picture. Second, it's a really low resolution and/or bit rate with major digital artifacts. Seriously, I'm not being picky here. It's like watching a 320x240 QuickTime movie scaled up to full screen. Third, it's a pan and scan that switches between compressing the widescreen to scrunch it all in, and normal pan and scan. Finally, the dub is super super bad...like one of the ones that gave kung fu movies a bad name.

Now that said, it is cool to have to show to friends so we can exclaim about how bad it is and and basically MST2k it.
