Anyone seen this? This movie was just released on DVD and it looks fascinating. A documentary filmmaker decides to pretend to be a guru to show how easy it is to dupe people with religion/mysticism.

sounds cool, one of those documentaries where the documentarist becomes the bad guy and plays people. Like the one that fenced blood diamonds in the CAR.

He did a great job. He wanted to show how easy it was to be a guru that people look to for truth but I don't think everyone could have done as well as he did. Ultimately he cared a lot for the people he encountered, and that had a big impact on many of them (and himself.)
