The only time I've spoken to, or about, the mods was to criticize them. So, to be fair, I thought I'd publicy praise them for a definite improvement I've noticed lately. That improvement being an increase in giving reasons when locking threads. The last few locked threads that I've read (who here doesn't read locked threads
) actually had "This thread is being locked because..." in an Anandtech Moderator edit of the first post. I realize they're not required to do so, but I think that when they decide to do it, it helps to reduce the potential for confusion and anger on the part of the thread starter, which, whether you agree with the lock or not, is a good thing. It also helps reduce the number of "Why was this thread locked?" topics. Good job guys and gals (actually, are there gal mods?)
