I needed some new tires for my wife's van in January. I went to tire rack and did some research and came to the conclusion that the Kumho A/S 795 was the best tire for my situation.

Thus far I've been very happy with the winter traction reduced road noise over the worn out OEM tires. Well, Thursday my wife hit a jagged curb and tore a 3 inch hole in the tire.

I just happened to run across something about a manufacturers road hazard warranty for the 1st 25% of the tread life. Very rare, as the guy at the tire store said in a hasty voice "there is no tire manufacturer in the world that puts a road hazzard warranty on their tires standard".

Well, after a few more minutes of insisting Kuhmo did have that warranty, he called the manufacterers rep. I'll be damned if they didn't not only cover a new tire, but all the labor too!!!

Kudos to Kumho on sticking to their warranty.

they have been known to make pretty good tires for autocrossers (cheap and grippy)

and i thought it was spelled kumho
