Mine kinda kicked the bucket over the weekend, and I was quite fretting, as it was the best damn value (sub-$300 for a 19", does 1600x1200x85 MHz, .25 dp) in a computer system that I've seen for awhile.

Well, I was figuring on having to replace the damn thing, but Wingnut said his bro was able to RMA pretty easily through KDS.

Now then, it died the past weekend, and I just gave KDS a call.

Their policy is to take your credit card #, monitor model and serial # and purchase date, and they immediately send you out a replacement monitor. Should be here within 3-5 days.

All I gotta do is return the fuX0r3d one within 30 days after receipt of the replacement.

Pretty cool!!!! Quite easy and friendly.

Now let's see if the replacement arrives. <prays heavily>

My CTX PR960F has died twice on me in the past 4 months, and both times CTX send out a new one next day :) Pretty cool (although I'd much rather they didn't die in the first place!!)

Robo, that's the same way they treated my friends broken monitor. Shipped him a new one, and he returned the broken one, after receiveing the new one.

Since he promptly returned the broken one, they never charged his credit card.

I was very impressed with their customer service.

well, considering price, performance, specs and their rebate/warranty program, it seems KDS monitors are one of the better values for the $$$, eh?

It seems like a lot of people are having to return a dead KDS monitor after having them only a short while. It seems like it is either cheap parts or poor shipping. I hope it's not cheap parts because I might get one.
