I bought a p965lt a couple of years ago. it died a couple of weeks ago. I rushed out and bought a asus p5q se. intel rmaed and it only took a week total time. However I waited until the weekend to put it in. New board was dead as a door nail. Put the p45 back in. Frys return period is over now so I have to keep the p5q, but called intel this morning. They apologized for the issue and are sending me a new board, next day air with pre-paid label to send the bad board back.
They did this without hesitation even though I tried to see if it was something I did that caused the problem. They said nope you'll have your new board tomorrow.
