While most people hate Donald Sterling as the cheapskate owner of the LA Clippers, I say Kudos to the guy for making mega bucks out of an NBA franchise (revenue sharing, lower player salaries). Is it in the best interest for an owner to get all the profits he can from a company? Heck yeah...
In the days when a common man can't even make a decent 30K salary, NBA stars command millions of millions of dollars, and for what? A sport? A game? Lets see, Lebron James 90mil from Nike, Jason Kidd (wife beater) 99mil from NJ, Alonzo Mourning (been sitting on Heats bench for 2 years) 25mil, and the list goes on?
I would say to Mr. Sterling that he can cut all of his dumb ass players, such as Andre Miller, Lamar Odom, Elton Brand, Kandi(ass)man, Corey Magette etc... I would go out and sign a mess of CBA, NBDL, USBL, or street ball players for the absolute minimum. If I was an owner, let's see what the NBA can do to me...
