One of the best programs ever. From the economic links of Saddam to the Swiss, [no surprise here as the Swiss sell out for a plug nickel!] to the SUV piece, all were balanced and thoughtful.

It must be the competition with FOX that makes them see the need to actually compete for the mainstream audience....which have move toward the center from a obvious liberal bias....Good Job!

Didnt see it.
Umm... does this mean they mostly agreed with ya? 😀

For a change the reporting did not attempt to agree with anyone. The Saddam link provided much more ammunition against him and the SUV piece just sought to link Amercanism with the 'need' for a status symbol.

Honest reporting that was entertaining and insightful.

Yeah it was a good show. As they usually are. 🙂

I wish I could afford a hummer. 😀

(Maybe in a few years.... 🙁)

That's cool (just yanking your chain before). Often these shows start with a premise, then go to any means to prove it.

60 Minutes is on and off for me. Once in a while they will have a great piece but other times I just say ... blah. Too bad I missed this.

yeah, the saddam piece, the SUV piece, and the Indian tech piecewere all excellent. It's the first time I've EVER watched the whole of 60 minutes without changing the channel. Ususally I change the channel when a non-interested piece comes on. Great show tonight.

Oh yea their reporting was totally unbaised and when they went after the Jeep CJ-5.

Not to mention being caught planting explosives on gas tanks when they went after the "side saddle" fuel tanks on some chevy trucks. Edit-I am sorry that was NBC.😱

I wonder if Anand's father went to the university in the report?

We Americans need to take a very hard look at ourselves in the education deparment. Looks like India rewards acheivement and competition is the key to success....hint!😉
