No, it isn't a turbo busa, but I think that this would be a fun bike to ride in the twisties. And for $2500 it's not like you're throwing down massive amounts of money for a backup bike.

A guy I rode with in San Antonio had a KTM motard and could lay that thing down til it was almost laying on the road. Trying to keep up with him was pretty difficult sometimes. They're nice looking bikes.

Too bad it isn't coming to the US 🙁

KTM Crossbow is better:

No, I genuinely think it's better, this thread is about a KTM... Perfect fit.

No. This thread is about the KTM 200 Duke. Post reported.

Back on topic, I'll be interested to see a shootout between this, the CBR250, and the Ninja 250.

Sure people never post comparative vehicles in threads about vehicles do they.

Also: Top Tip: Don't tell me when you've reported one of my posts, I don't care, I don't need to know, just do it quietly and move on.

The X-Bow is a 4-wheel superlight roadster that has a base cost of $88,000.

The KTM 200 Duke is an entry level motorcycle with a base cost of $2,500.

Please explain to me in what way these two vehicles are even remotely close to being similar, other than the fact that they have the same paint scheme and manufacturer (which isn't correct if you'd read the article, because the bike is joint-development and will be made by Bajaj Auto, so the KTM part is in name alone).

The reason I put that your post had been reported is in the hopes that next time you refrain from thread-crapping.

So I'm supposed to tell you how they are similar excluding the ways they are similar?

Looks cool, too bad its so slow in a straight.

Yea, I wouldn't ride it as a commuter or on long trips, but I bet as a track toy or in the mountains in would be frickin sweet. That thing on the 3 Sisters in Texas or the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA would be magnifique.

That said, my Triumph would be better 🙂

Problem with that road as Top Gear showed is that the speed limit is really bad. Mostly 35

Very nice bike, but I agree with both if these statements. Just earlier today I was discussing with a riding coworker what I thought would be the ultimate bike for a hypothetical Arctic Circle to tip of South America trip. This bike is verrrry close to what I'd envisioned. But I'd like it just a little bit faster on the straights. Still, throw some Tourance or Anakees on there...tempting bike.

Your point? A rider would be more limited by the tightness of the switchbacks and the turns with a decreasing radius than the speed limit in most places.

most don't ride all over the country on these kinds of bikes. if it works for you get one. They are pretty cheap compared to their competition.

I live in S. Florida, there are tons of guys that talk about how their cars/bikes/boats would have done better 1000 miles away.

I'd be genuinely interested but it won't be offered in the US. Possibly their 350cc model, but not this little 200. Then there's the fact that I've got a bike that does everything that I want already, the only reason that I would consider something like this would be for the track, but I don't have the time or money for tracks.

A Transalp or V-Storm will do you just fine. 😉

As somebody that has been down there, i can tell you that most people dont ride the speedlimits on bikes, and the cops dont care. Riding on the dragon? Yeah they care there. But if you get away from the tourist trap that is deals gap you really dont have to worry to much.
