KT7A-RAID Need help Please

What ever I try I cannot get my USB to work properly with this mobo. I have a SB live card which from what I can see causes problems with this mobo. Please help me I am very upset. I also have a problem with starting up. I installed some patch (from VIA) and it takes like 6 min. to startup, I hate this mobo. AHHHHHH
 
Don't know what could be causing it. I have a live and more USB stuff hanging off it than I can count. Never had a prob with this or my other KT7 or KT7 raid boards.
 
I had the same problem with my kt7a. the culprit was my sb live value. i flashed the bios and tried setting it in different pci slots but the board never really worked well until i yanked out the sb live. i'm currently using an xwave 6000 ($35) which has the yamaha 744 chipset. it sounds as good as the soundblaster imhop and my system runs as solid as a rock.
