KT7A-Raid and HSF problem

Well, I just purchased an Abit KT7A-RAID mobo yesterday, and I realized how little space there was between the socket and the capacitors. My ThermalTake Silver Orb slightly hits the capacitors when inserting it, and slightly forces the capacitors to lean slightly. Once it snaps in place though, the capacitors can be moved back. However, I noticed that I scrapped off a tiny bit of the insulation on the capacitor. Will that be a problem, since some of the metal is now exposed on the capacitor?

Was it very difficult to stick the HSF unit onto the CPU? I heard some people broke the cores of their AMD CPUs trying to get a fan on it.
