KT7A Raid / AMD Duron 850 - Not working???

I picked up a Kt7a Raid last night and slapped in my hardware and processor.
When I powered the machine up it didn't boot. After about 5-6 seconds it shut itself down?
Why?
I thought it would have something to do with my processor but it worked fine in my other board. Please help me out. Thanks

make sure the cpu fan is connected to the fan1 header. if it isnt the bios will shut down the system as its not detecting a fan on header one, where it should be.

That was it... In my rush and fustration I had the fan in the FAN2 slot. I'm dumb
