KT7A - Raid... 4 Long Beep... Beep Code

My friend is getting this beep code on his motherboard. 4 Long beeps and then it powers itself off.
There is no display, nothing.
Abit's support is worthless and could not tell us what the beep code meant.
Anyone have any ideas?

most say his motherboard is bad.

I would try reseating the video card first. I heard that can be either a 4 or 8 beep code.

#1)Re"SEAT" the cpu

#2)Make sure L1 Bridges are connected properly,if you unlocked you cpu.

#3)Make sure the cpu fan is connected to"fan 1"header if you have the WW bios.


Reseat you cards and ram just to be safe.My Kt7-raid manual dosnt say anything about beep codes😀,but I am just telling you what I would try.

Is there anybody out there that Knows the beep codes for award bios's?

FOUND IT🙂 From what I read here,the person had 4 Beeps and it would power off,they put the cpu fan on header #1(the one closest to the ram)and it solved their problem😉

ahh yes...the new bios checks for the CPU fan on header one. Heard about that but never knew it beeped 😕
