now that boards with jumpers are a bad thing :) which one should i go with? both are around the same price range. im planning on overclocking a duron to a gig and no raid... i was leaning towards the kt7a before but have heard so many great things about the a7v133. are there still any future problems with the a7v133? thanks for any help

the big issue with all KT133A boards is whether they will support the Palomino AMD chips...A7V133 is a 2 phase power setup vs 3 phase with the K7TA...there is some speculation that the A7V133 may not be able to provide enough amps with the voltage to power these chips...no one know for sure...check at www.overclockers.com for more info

Bah Overclockers.com... what a bunch of asses :) I still stand behing my opinion in my article... especially now that I have seen the A7M2676 which is STILL 2 phase running CPUs between 1.6Ghz and 2Ghz.

that is interesting and I glad to hear that Dulanic..I really like the A7V133 after sorting out my problems ...mostly related to me and a suspect V5 that is not working it its old computer now...BTW where did you see it run a AMD chip at 2GHZ????
